The contestant will prepare a video that introduces his/herself, describes their career aspirations, significant experiences, the motivation for their career choice, and provides insight into their future impact in the chosen field.

Edwin Monteverde College Tour Engineering Award

This video essay competition is for students interested in a career in engineering. The contestant will prepare a video that introduces his/herself, describes career aspirations, significant experiences, and provides insight into their future impact in the chosen field.


George L. Mims College Tour Support Award

This video essay competition is for students whose career interests do not fit the other award career aspirations. The contestant will prepare a video that introduces his/herself, describes career aspirations, significant experiences, and provides insight into their future impact in the chosen field.





Contest Rules



1. Use your cellphone or mobile camera to create your video


2. Create your video in a landscape orientation


3. Your video should be no more than 5 to 7 minutes in length


4. You may edit your video using a free editing software (eg. iMovie, etc)


5. Your video should address the chosen topic with clarity and creativity.


6. Title your visit: First Name.Last Name.Award Name (i.e., Finance, Nursing, Engineering, Support)


7. You may only submit one video.


8. Your video must be submitted no later than

October 1, 2026.


Winners will receive public recognition and a monetary award.
